A polar bear—hand carved from fossilized mammoth ivory—walks across the thinning ice in this pendant that also doubles as a pin. 

Note: Zealandia jewelry is made from ancient fossilized walrus and mammoth ivory, from animals that died between 500 and 15,000 years ago. Their ivory was buried in the earth or in permafrost for centuries, during which time it acquired its unique coloring.
